Åremössan translated into English!

Jag tog mig friheten att översätta Åremössan från Kaki i Åre till engelska, jag hoppas att de inte blir arga på mig..

Originalmönstret på svenska finns här

Mönstersidan på Ravelry finns här.

I took the liberty of translating the pattern for Åremössan (The Åre Hat) from Kaki into English. I hope they won't be mad at me..

The original pattern (in Swedish) is available here.

Pattern page on Ravelry can be found here.

ÅREMÖSSAN from KAKI in Åre

Yarn: Milano (80 % wool, 20 % alpaca) 100 gr approx 90 m/98 yards
or any similar thick-and-thin yarn (why not try to spin your own?)

Needles: 10 mm/US 15

Sizes: Child (Adult)

Directions
CO 34 (38) sts on needles 10 mm/US 15 using both needles so the edge won't be too tight.
Knit back and forth in k1, p1-ribbing until work measures 40 (45) cm/15,5 (17,5) inches.
BO loosely.

Assembly
Sew the CO-edge and the BO-edge together to form a cylinder.
Sew the top shut by threading a piece of yarn up and down in one of the cylinders' egdes and pull tight to close the hole. Weave in all ends. You now have a cool Åremössa from Kaki in Åre.

Note!
This is not my pattern! It is designed by Lena Kinnander and is licensed to Kaki, I just translated it into English.
If you use this pattern in your blog, please link to the original website www.kaki.se/monster-aremossan and state Kaki as author.
